जिला मुख्यालय पौड़ी की नयी पुलिस कप्तान एक का एक अभिनव प्रयास शुरू करने जा रहा है। जिसमें पुलिस कर्मी स्कूली छात्र-छात्राओं को सोशल मीडिया में डू और डोंट से लेकर गुड टच और बेड टच समेत विभिन्न अपराधों से रूबरू करेंगे। वहीं एसएसपी ने कहा की लक्ष्मणझूला क्षेत्र में अब सघन रूप से सत्यापन का कार्य किया जाएगा।
पौड़ी में मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए एसएसपी श्वेता चौबे ने कहा कि पुलिस द्वारा जल्द ही एक अभिनव कार्यक्रम जिले की पुलिस द्वारा शुरू किया जाएगा। इसे उन्होंने ”एक साझू प्रयास पुलिस वाले गुरुजी के साथ” नाम दिया है। इसमें स्कूली बच्चों को पुलिस टीम गूरू बनकर उनकी स्कूलों में ही जाकर विभिन्न प्रत्यक्ष और अप्रत्यक्ष अपराधों की जानकारी देंगे। एसएसपी ने कहा कि स्कूली बच्चों में सोशल मीडिया कल्चर बहुत तेजी से बढ़ रहा है। इससे बहुतेरे अप्रत्यक्ष अपराध भी होते हैं। इन्हीं अपराधों के प्रति जानकारी देने के लिए यह कार्यक्रम बच्चों के बीच चलाया जाएगा।
एक सवाल के जवाब में एसएसपी ने कहा कि इस कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत जिले के थलीसैंण, पाबौ, पैठाणी थानाक्षेत्र से की जाएगी। एसएसपी ने कहा कि शहर की यातायात व्यवस्था, तेज गति से वाहन चलाने वाले दोपहिया वाहन चालको पर लगाम लगाने के प्रयास किए जाएंगे।
