खेल महाकुंभ से निखरेगी युवाओं की प्रतिभा-रेखा आर्या
आज प्रदेश की खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने मीडिया सेंटर में प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान आयोजित होने जा रहे खेल महाकुंभ के संबंध में जानकारी दी।खेल मंत्री ने कहा कि विभाग द्वारा हर साल खेल महाकुम्भ का आयोजन अक्टूबर के प्रथम सप्ताह में आरंभ किया जाता रहा है परंतु इस वर्ष अपरिहार्य कारणों से खेल महाकुम्भ-2023 का आयोजन 31 अक्टूबर 2023 से आरम्भ किया जायेगा जो कि दिसम्बर अंत माह तक चलेंगे।खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने कहा कि खेल महाकुम्भ-2023 का आयोजन अक्टूबर से दिसम्बर 2023 के अन्त तक पूर्ण किया जायेगा जिसमें प्रतियोगिताओं को न्याय पंचायत, विकास खण्ड, जनपद स्तर तथा राज्य स्तर पर किया जायेगा। खेल महाकुंभ का शुभारंभ राज्यपाल महोदय द्वारा किया जाएगा।न्याय पंचायत स्तर पर शुरू होने जा रहे खेल महाकुंभ नैनीताल जनपद के हल्द्वानी शहर के कुंवरपुर में आयोजित होंगे।
खेल मंत्री ने बताया कि इस वर्ष खेल महाकुंभ में पुरुस्कार राशि पिछले साल की तुलना ने बधाई गई है।कहा कि न्याय पंचायत स्तर पर पहले आने वाले को राशि 300 दूसरे पर 200 और तीसरे पर 150 है।
विकासखंडपर पहले स्थान पर आने वाले को 500 दूसरे स्थान पर 400 और तीसरे स्थान पर आने वाले को 300 की पुरुस्कार राशि दी जाएगी।
जनपद स्तर पर पहले स्थान पर रहने वाले को 800 ,दूसरे स्थान पर 600 और तीसरे स्थान पर आने वाले को 400 की पुरुस्कार राशि दी जाएगी।
राज्य स्तर पर पहले स्थान पर आने वाले को 1500 दूसरे स्थान वाले को 1000 और तीसरे स्थान पर आने वाले को 700 की पुरुस्कार राशि दी जाएगी।
खेल मंत्री ने बताया कि खेल महाकुंभ 662 न्याय पंचायतों,95 विकासखंडों ,13 जनपदों और राज्य स्तर पर 18 ग्रुपो में होंगे में होंगे जिनमे आयुवर्ग 14 से 17 बालक/बालिका की है जिसमे एथेलेटिक्स और कब्बडी शामिल है।
विकासखंड,जनपद और राज्य स्तर पर आयोजित होने जा रहे खेल महाकुंभ में आयु वर्ग 14,17 और 19 है।
खेल मंत्री ने बताया कि इस वर्ष पहली बार दिव्यांगजन की ओपन महिला-पुरुष के मध्य भी खेल आयोजित किये जा रहे हैं जिनमे की एथेलेटिक्स और बैडमिंटन शामिल है।साथ ही बताया कि खेल महाकुंभ में एथेलेटिक्स, कबड्डी,खो-खो,बॉलीवाल, फुटबाल,जूडो, बैडमिंटन, टेबल टेनिस,कराटे, बॉक्सिंग, मलखम्ब, हैंडबॉल, ताइक्वांडो सहित कई अन्य खेल भी आयोजित होंगे।
वहीं पत्रकार वार्ता से पूर्व खेल मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने आज सचिवालय में 31 अक्टूबर से शुरू होने जा रहे खेल महाकुंभ की तैयारियों के संबंध में भी समस्त जनपदों के जिलाधिकारियों के साथ वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से बैठक की।बैठक में सभी संबंधित अधिकारियों को खेल महाकुंभ की समस्त तैयारियां तय समय पर पूरा करने के दिशा निर्देश दिए, साथ ही सभी से आयोजन समिति की बैठक जल्द करने के भी निर्देश दिए और सभी से खेल महाकुंभ के व्यापक प्रचार प्रसार करने के भी दिशा निर्देश दिए।
इस अवसर पर निदेशक युवा कल्याण, जितेन्द्र कुमार सोनकर, उप सचिव, युवा कल्याण धीरेन्द्र कुमार सिंह, शक्ति सिंह सहित अन्य विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

Sports Minister Rekha Arya did video conferencing with the District Magistrates of all the districts before the press conference, gave instructions to complete all the preparations for the Sports Mahakumbh.
Youth talent will shine through Khel Mahakumbh – Rekha Arya
Today, State Sports Minister Rekha Arya gave information regarding the Khel Mahakumbh that is going to be organized during the press conference in the media centre. The Sports Minister said that the department has been organizing Khel Mahakumbh every year in the first week of October. But this year, due to unavoidable reasons, the Khel Mahakumbh-2023 will be organized from October 31, 2023, which will continue till the end of December. Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that the Khel Mahakumbh-2023 will be organized from October to the end of December 2023. In which competitions will be held at Nyaya Panchayat, Development Block, District level and State level. The Khel Mahakumbh will be inaugurated by the Governor. The Khel Mahakumbh, which is going to be started at the Nyay Panchayat level, will be organized in Kunwarpur of Haldwani city of Nainital district.
The Sports Minister said that this year the prize money in the Khel Mahakumbh has increased compared to last year. He said that at the Nyaya Panchayat level, the amount given to the first person is Rs 300, second is Rs 200 and third is Rs 150.
Prize money of Rs 500 will be given to the first place in the development block, Rs 400 to the second place and Rs 300 to the third place.
At the district level, prize money of Rs 800 will be given to the first place winner, Rs 600 to the second place and Rs 400 to the third place winner.
At the state level, prize money of Rs 1500 will be given to the first place winner, Rs 1000 to the second place and Rs 700 to the third place.
The Sports Minister said that the Khel Mahakumbh will be held in 662 Nyaya Panchayats, 95 Development Blocks, 13 Districts and 18 groups at the state level, in which boys/girls in the age group of 14 to 17, which includes athletics and Kabaddi.
The age groups in the Khel Mahakumbh, which is going to be organized at the block, district and state level, are 14, 17 and 19.
The Sports Minister said that this year, for the first time, open games are being organized for the disabled among men and women, which include athletics and badminton. He also said that in the Maha Kumbh, sports like athletics, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, football will be organised. Many other sports including Judo, Badminton, Table Tennis, Karate, Boxing, Malkhamb, Handball, Taekwondo will also be organised.
Before the press conference, Sports Minister Rekha Arya also held a meeting through video conferencing with the District Magistrates of all the districts regarding the preparations for the Khel Mahakumbh which is going to start from October 31 in the Secretariat. In the meeting, all the concerned officials were informed about the Khel Mahakumbh. Gave directions to complete all the preparations for the Khel Mahakumbh on time, and also directed everyone to hold the organizing committee meeting soon and also directed everyone to give wide publicity to the Khel Mahakumbh.
On this occasion, Director Youth Welfare, Jitendra Kumar Sonkar, Deputy Secretary, Youth Welfare Dhirendra Kumar Singh, Shakti Singh and other departmental officers were present.
