देहरादून : डीएवी पीजी कॉलेज, की दीवार गिरने से युवती की मौत, भाई घायल
डीएवी पीजी कॉलेज देहरादून के पीछे की दीवार का हिस्सा गिरने से वहां से पैदल गुजर रही युवती की मौत हो गई, जबकि उसका भाई घायल हो गया। उसे दून अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। पुलिस से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक कोटा चकराता निवासी सुष्मिता तोमर (22 वर्ष) डीबीएस कॉलेज के पास एक संस्थान में कोचिंग करती थी। हाल ही में उसकी नियुक्ति पुरोला डिग्री कॉलेज में कनिष्ठ सहायक के पद पर हुई थी। वह नौकरी मिलने की खुशी में देर शाम कोचिंग सेंटर के संचालक को मिठाई खिलाने गई थी। इस दौरान उसका भाई रघुवीर भी साथ था। रात को दोनों पैदल डीएवी कॉलेज के पीछे की रोड से गुजर रहे थे। इसी दौरान दिवार का हिस्सा भरभराकर गिर पड़ा। करीब 15 फीट चौड़ी सड़क पर गिरी 12 फीट ऊंची दीवार के मलबे ने भाई-बहन को चपेट में ले लिया गया।
आसपास के लोगों ने पुलिस को सूचना देने के साथ ही ईंटें हटाकर दोनों को बाहर निकाला। पुलिस ने दोनों को उपचार के लिए अस्पताल भिजवाया। डॉक्टरों ने सुष्मिता को मृत घोषित कर दिया। वही दीवार गिरने से हुई लड़की की मौत पर एनआईसीयू, आर्यन व एबीवीपी छात्रसंगठन से जुड़े छात्रों ने देर रात डीएवी कॉलेज में जोरदार प्रदर्शन किया। छात्रों ने प्राचार्य कार्यालय और मुख्य गेट के आगे नारेबाजी करते हुए प्राचार्य से इस्तीफे की मांग की।
प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कहा कि , करीब डेढ़ महीने पहले ही कॉलेज प्रशासन को दीवार की हालत के बारे में बताया गया था। दीवार हादसे का कारण न बने इसके लिए छात्र समय रहते उसकी मरम्मत कराने की मांग कर रहे थे। लेकिन कॉलेज प्रशासन ने छात्रों की मांगों को अनदेखा करने का काम किया। और अब कॉलेज प्रशासन की घोर लापरवाही की वजह से लड़की की मौत हो गई। छात्रों ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा, इस संबंध में संबंधित शिक्षकों व अधिकरियों के खिलाफ जल्द कार्रवाई नहीं की गई या प्राचार्य की ओर से इस्तीफा नहीं दिया गया तो वह उग्र आंदोलन करने के लिए बाध्य होंगे।
A girl passing by on foot died while her brother got injured when a part of the wall behind Anchor-DAV PG College, Dehradun collapsed. He has been admitted to Doon Hospital. According to information received from the police, Sushmita Tomar (22 years), resident of Kota Chakrata, used to do coaching in an institute near DBS College. Recently he was appointed to the post of Junior Assistant in Purola Degree College. She had gone to feed sweets to the coaching center operator late in the evening in joy of getting the job. During this time his brother Raghuveer was also with him. At night, both of them were passing on foot through the road behind DAV College. During this time a part of the wall collapsed. The brother and sister were hit by the debris of a 12 feet high wall that fell on a road about 15 feet wide.
People nearby informed the police and removed the bricks and took both of them out. The police sent both of them to the hospital for treatment. Doctors declared Sushmita dead. Students associated with NICU, Aryan and ABVP student organizations staged a strong demonstration in DAV College late night on the death of a girl due to the collapse of a wall. The students raised slogans in front of the Principal’s office and the main gate, demanding the resignation of the Principal.
The protesters said that the college administration was informed about the condition of the wall only about one and a half months ago. The students were demanding timely repair of the wall so that it does not become the cause of any accident. But the college administration ignored the demands of the students. And now due to gross negligence of the college administration the girl died. The students warned that if immediate action is not taken against the concerned teachers and officers in this regard or the principal does not resign, they will be forced to carry out violent agitation.
