देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ पेट्रोलियम एंड एनर्जी स्टडीज (यूपीईएस) ‘स्कूल फॉर लाइफ’ की सोशल इंटर्नशिप ‘सृजन’ का वर्चुअल शुभारम्भ किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अस्तित्व में आने से ही यूपीईएस समाज के लिए अपने दायित्वों के प्रति संवेदनशील रहा है। छात्रों को शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के साथ ही सांस्कृतिक और गैर शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के क्षेत्र में भी अनेक अवसर प्रदान करता रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि नीति एवं मौलिक शिक्षा हमारी सांस्कृतिक विरासत की देन है। सृजन इंटर्नशिप हमारी भावी पीढ़ी को देश व समाज की उन्नति के लिए रचनात्मकता एवं सकारात्मकता में सहयोग देगी। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त की कि यह इंटर्नशिप छात्रों के जीवन को बेहतर बनाने में सहायक होगी।
इस अवसर पर वर्चुअल माध्यम से कुलाधिपति यूपीईएस डॉ. जे.एस. चोपड़ा, कुलपति डॉ. सुनील राय, मुख्यमंत्री के विशेष कार्याधिकारी जे. सुन्द्रियाल आदि उपस्थित थे।
