उत्तराखण्ड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण, आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग और भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, रूड़की द्वारा विकसित किया गया एप
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सचिवालय में मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन ‘‘ उत्तराखण्ड भूकंप अलर्ट’’ एप का शुभारम्भ किया। उत्तराखण्ड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण, आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग एवं भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, रूड़की के सौजन्य से बनाये गये इस एप के माध्यम से भूकम्प से पूर्व चेतावनी मिल जायेगी।
उत्तराखण्ड यह एप बनाने वाला पहला राज्य है। इससे जन सुरक्षा में मदद मिलेगी। इस एप के माध्यम से भूकंप के दौरान लोगों की लोकेशन भी प्राप्त की जा सकती है। भूकंप अलर्ट के माध्यम से भूकंप से क्षतिग्रस्त संरचनाओं में फँसे होने पर सूचना दी जा सकती है। उत्तराखण्ड भूकंप अलर्ट एप को गूगल प्ले स्टोर से डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड भूकंप की दृष्टि से संवेदनशील राज्य है। इस एप के माध्यम से लोगों को भूकंप पूर्व चेतावनी मिल सके, इसके लिए इस एप की लोगों को जानकारी दी जाय। विभिन्न माध्यमों से व्यापक स्तर पर इसका प्रचार प्रसार किया जाय। आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग द्वारा इसकी लघु फिल्म बनाकर जन-जन तक पहुंचाया जाय। स्कूलों में भी बच्चों को लघु फिल्म के माध्यम से इस एप के बारे में जानकारी दी जाय।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जिन लोगों के पास एंड्राइड फोन नहीं है, उनको भी भूकंप से पूर्व चेतावनी मैसेज पहुंच जाय, इस एप के माध्यम से यह सुविधा भी प्रदान की जाय। भूकंप पूर्व चेतावनी में सायरन एवं वायस दोनों माध्यमों से अलर्ट की व्यवस्था की जाय। भूकंप पूर्व चेतावनी के लिए सायरन टोन अलग से हो। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि भूकंप पूर्व चेतावनी के लिए यह एक अच्छी पहल है।
इस अवसर पर आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत, मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस.एस.संधु, अपर मुख्य सचिव आनंद बर्द्धन, सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन एस.ए. मुरूगेशन, आई.आई.टी. रूड़की के प्रो. कमल एवं आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग के अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
