ऋषिकेश के सिनेमाहॉल में शुक्रवार को गढ़वाली फिल्म ‘खैरी का दिन का प्रदर्शन किया गया। आंचलिक फिल्म को देखने के लिए लोगों की भीड़ उमड़ी। दर्शकों ने कलाकारों की प्रशंसा की और गढ़वाल की संस्कृति के संरक्षण के लिए इस प्रकार की फिल्मों को जरूरी बताया।
शुक्रवार को ऋषिकेश के सिनेमा हॉल रामा पैलेस में गढ़वाली फिल्म ‘खैरी का दिन का पहला शो लगा। इसका उद्घाटन कांग्रेस नेता जयेद्र रमोला ने किया। उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे हिन्दुस्तान में हर प्रदेश में अपनी बोली व अपनी भाषा से पहचान है, परन्तु उत्तराखंड में आज भी हमें अपनी बोली को भाषा का दर्जा दिलाने के लिये संघर्ष करना पड़ रहा है। क्योंकि, हम लोग स्वयं अपनी गढ़वाली बोली में बात करने में हिचक महसूस करते हैं। उत्तराखंड के स्थानीय कलाकार फिल्मों के माध्यम से अपनी भाषा व संस्कृति को बचाने का कार्य कर रहे हैं। हमें इनको प्रोत्साहित करना चाहिए। गढ़वाल महासभा के अध्यक्ष डॉ. राजे सिंह नेगी ने बताया कि महेश्वरी फिल्म्स के बैनर तले डीएस पंवार की इस फिल्म के निर्माता और निर्देशक अशोक चौहान हैं। सह निर्माता रोशन उपाध्याय, डीओपी युवी नेगी, एडीटर अरुण नेगी, सहायक जयदेव भट्टाचार्य, कुलदीप देवली, बसंत घिल्डियाल, नृत्य निर्देशक अरविंद नेगी, संगीत अमित कपूर का है। ऋषिकेश से पहले यह फिल्म दून, नई दिल्ली व कोटद्वार में लगाई जा चुकी है। फिल्म पहाड़ की कठिन परिस्थितियों व मुद्दों को लेकर आवाज उठाती है।
