सीएम तीरथ ने आपातकाल की 46वीं वार्षिकी पर उत्तराखण्ड के लोकतंत्र सेनानियों के साथ (वर्चुवल) सम्वाद कार्यक्रम को किया सम्बोधित।
देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने आपातकाल के दौरान लोकतंत्र के लिये संघर्ष करने वाले लोकतंत्र सेनानियों के त्याग व समर्पण को याद करते हुए कहा कि लोकतंत्र के लिये यातनाये सहने वाले सेनानियों का हम सम्मान करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे लोगों के सम्मान को किस प्रकार और अधिक व्यापकता प्रदान की जाय इसके लिये अन्य राज्यों द्वारा अपनाई गई प्रक्रियाओं का भी अध्ययन किया जायेगा। उन्होंने ऐसे लोगों के आश्रितों को भी सम्मान दिये जाने की बात कही।
शनिवार को बीजापुर अतिथि गृह में नित्यानन्द स्वामी जन सेवार्थ समिति द्वारा आपातकाल की 46वीं वार्षिकी पर उत्तराखण्ड के लोकतंत्र सेनानियों के साथ (वर्चुवल) सम्वाद कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने कहा कि आपातकाल के कालखण्ड का इतिहास हमे बताता है कि किस प्रकार हमारे लोगो ने लोकतंत्र की रक्षा के लिये यातनाये सही। ऐसे लोकतंत्र के सेनानियों के सम्मान की परम्परा को बनाये रखना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके सम्मान में किस प्रकार और बेहतर व्यवस्था की जा सकती है, इसके लिये अन्य राज्यों द्वारा इस सम्बन्ध में की जा रही व्यवस्थाओं का अध्ययन किया जायेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी देश में लोकतंत्र की मजबूती के लिये कार्य कर रहे हैं। लोकतंत्र के सेनानियों के सपनो को वे साकार कर रहे हैं। मोदी जी मजबूत लोकतांत्रिक राष्ट्र के वैभव के साथ ही सांस्कृतिक भारत की समृद्ध विरासत को आगे बढ़ाने का कार्य कर रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने रणवीर सिंह ज्याला, राजकुमार टांक, हरीश कम्बोज आदि को शॉल भेंट कर सम्मानित भी किया।
इस कार्यक्रम में वर्चुवल रूप से सांसद नरेश बंसल, प्रेम बुडाकोटी, रोशन लाल अग्रवाल एवं संयोजक योगेश अग्रवाल आदि ने भी सम्बोधित किया।
