मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी द्वारा कोविड 19 के दृष्टिगत केन्द्र सरकार की ओर से 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के युवाओं का निःशुल्क टीकाकरण किये जाने की घोषणा का स्वागत किया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा दीपावली तक देश के 80 करोड़ गरीबों को प्रधानमंत्री अन्न विकास योजना के तहत निःशुल्क राशन उपलब्ध कराये जाने की घोषण का भी स्वागत किया है। प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 21 जून से देश के युवाओं को निःशुल्क वैक्सीनेशन कार्यक्रम संचालित करने की घोषणा की है।
मुख्यमंत्री तीरथ सिंह रावत ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की दूरदर्शिता का ही परिणाम है कि कोरोना की इस वैश्विक महामारी के प्रभाव को कम करने में हमारा देश सफल हो पाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना के इस कालखण्ड में प्रधानमंत्री के सफल नेतृत्व एवं मार्गदर्शन में देश में कोविड अस्पतालों, आई.सी.यू. बेड, वेंटिलेटर, टेस्ट लैब का बड़ा नेटवर्क तैयार कर हेल्थ इन्फ्रास्टचर को बढ़ावा दिया गया है। कोरोना की सेकेण्ड वेव में मेडिकल आक्सीजन की बढ़ती मांग की आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित की गई।
देश में भारी मात्रा में वैक्सीन का उत्पादन के साथ ही जरूरी दवाओं के उत्पादन में कई गुना बढ़ोत्तरी की गई। फ्रन्टलाईन वर्कर के साथ ही बुजुर्गों के टीकाकरण में तेजी लाई गई। आज हमारी वैक्सीन की देश व दुनिया में चर्चा हो रही हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री के दिशा-निर्देश पर देश में बच्चों की वैक्सीन तैयार करने की दिशा में तेजी से कार्य हो रहा है। केन्द्र सरकार की ओर से देश के 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के युवाओं का निःशुल्क टीकाकरण एवं गरीबों को दीपावली तक निःशुल्क राशन उपलब्ध कराना वास्तव में मानवता की बड़ी सेवा है।
