मुख्य सचिव डाॅ. एस.एस. संधू ने सोमवार को सचिवालय में ऊर्जा विभाग की समीक्षा की। मुख्य सचिव ने अधिकारियों को विद्युत चोरी एवं विद्युत लाईन लाॅस को कम किए जाने हेतु लगातार प्रयासरत रहने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्य सचिव ने हाईड्रो प्रोजेक्ट की व्यवहार्यता पर एक अध्ययन कराए जाने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश के दूरस्थ क्षेत्र में रह रहे नागरिक को भी बेहतर विद्युत व्यवस्था उपलब्ध हो, इसके लिए विभाग निरन्तर प्रयास करे।
सचिव ऊर्जा श्रीमती राधिका झा द्वारा प्रदेश में ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में लिये गये महत्वपूर्ण निर्णयों, कार्यों तथा ऊर्जा के तीनों निगमों एवं उरेडा के द्वारा कराये जा रहे महत्वपूर्ण कार्यों, उपलब्धियों तथा सुधारों की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि ऊर्जा विभाग के निगमों एवं अभिकरणों में कार्मिकों एवं अधिकारियों की कार्यकुशलता बढ़ाने हेतु प्रमुख निष्पादन सूचकांक (के.पी.आई.) के आधार पर मूल्यांकन व्यवस्था की गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि उत्तराखण्ड ने अक्षय ऊर्जा एवं सभी को विद्युत उपलब्ध कराने में देश में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया है। एलईडी ग्राम लाईट योजना पर कार्य किया जा रहा है।
सचिव ऊर्जा ने बताया कि निगम द्वारा विगत चार वर्षों में राजस्व वृद्धि की बढ़ोतरी हेतु विभिन्न उपाय किए गए हैं। इसके अंतर्गत विद्युत चोरी हतोत्साहित करने हेतु ऊर्जागिरी अभियान सफलतापूर्वक चलाया जा रहा है। साथ ही बिलिंग दक्षता में 4 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि प्राप्त की गई है एवं वर्ष 2020-21 में ए0टी0 एण्ड सी0 हानियों में भी कमी की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि ट्रांसमिशन लोस 2017-18 में 1.39 प्रतिशत था जो वर्ष 2020-21 में 1.11 प्रतिशत है।
सचिव ऊर्जा ने बताया कि सौभाग्य योजना के तहत 1,64,390 हाउसहोल्ड को विद्युतिकृत किया गया है, जिसमें 5271 सौर ऊर्जा के माध्यम से शामिल हैं। नए 40 सीटर काॅल सेंटर लगातार 24×7 कन्ज्यूमर फीडबैक के लिए कार्य कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि 129.50 मेगावाट की विभिन्न जल विद्युत परियोजनाओं के निर्माण, विद्युत लाईनों को भूमिगत करने का कार्य तथा सबस्टेशनों के निर्माण के साथ ही स्मार्ट मीटरिंग के कार्यों को पूर्ण करन के कार्यों हेतु लक्ष्य निर्धारित किए गए हैं।
इस अवसर पर प्रबन्ध निदेशक एवं यूपीसीएल डाॅ. नीरज खैरवाल सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
