जैकलीन फर्नांडीज के बाद बॉलीवुड अदाकारा नोरा फतेही को दिल्ली पुलिस ने ठग सुकेश चंद्रशेखर से जुड़े रंगदारी मामले में आर्थिक अपराध शाखा के समक्ष आज (गुरुवार) पेश होने के लिए तलब किया है। बुधवार को दिल्ली पुलिस ने पिंकी ईरानी से भी पूछताछ की थी, जिन्हें कथित तौर पर जैकलीन को ठग सुकेश से मिलवाने के लिए करोड़ों रुपये दिए गए थे।
पहले दौर की पूछताछ के दौरान, अधिकारियों ने जैकलीन और पिंकी ईरानी के जवाबों में विसंगतियां पाईं और उनसे फिर से पूछताछ करने की संभावना है। पिंकी ईरानी को भी गुरुवार को दिल्ली पुलिस के सामने पेश होने को कहा गया है. हालांकि दिल्ली पुलिस ने कहा कि नोरा फतेही का जैकलीन से कोई सीधा संबंध नहीं है लेकिन पिंकी ईरानी के साथ पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया गया है.
विशेष आयुक्त रवींद्र यादव ने कहा, “चूंकि पिंकी ईरानी यहां हैं, हम कल दोनों से पूछताछ करना चाहते हैं। कुछ चीजें हैं जिन्हें स्पष्ट करने की आवश्यकता है। इस मामले के संबंध में नोरा और जैकलीन के बीच कोई सीधा संबंध नहीं है।” पुलिस, ईओडब्ल्यू 2 सितंबर को पुलिस ने नोरा फतेही से जबरन वसूली के मामले में करीब सात घंटे तक पूछताछ की और उसका बयान दर्ज किया गया.
पुलिस के अनुसार, नोरा फतेही को अपराध की आय से चोर से उपहार मिले। वह चेन्नई में एक कार्यक्रम का भी हिस्सा थीं, जिसके एक अपराध सिंडिकेट से संबंध थे। इससे पहले, पुलिस ने कहा था कि कुछ सवाल हैं जिनका जवाब देने की जरूरत है और साजिश में शामिल लोगों और लिंक का पता लगाने के लिए जांच की जा रही है।
पुलिस के अनुसार, नोरा फतेही ने दावा किया कि उन्हें इस बात का अंदाजा नहीं था कि चेन्नई के जिस कार्यक्रम में उन्हें बुलाया गया था, उसका इस अपराध से संबंध था।
17 अगस्त को, जबरन वसूली मामले में मनी ट्रेल की जांच कर रहे प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने अभिनेता जैकलीन फर्नांडीज को चंद्रशेखर से जुड़े कई करोड़ के मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग मामले में आरोपी के रूप में नामित करते हुए एक आरोप पत्र दायर किया। बाद में ईडी ने नोरा फतेही से भी इसी मामले में पूछताछ की थी. ईडी के मुताबिक, नोरा फतेही और जैकलीन फर्नांडीज को चंद्रशेखर से लग्जरी कारें और अन्य महंगे तोहफे मिले।
कॉनमैन सुकेश चंद्रशेखर, जो वर्तमान में जेल में है, पर फोर्टिस हेल्थकेयर के पूर्व प्रमोटर शिविंदर मोहन सिंह की पत्नी अदिति सिंह जैसे कुछ हाई-प्रोफाइल व्यक्तियों सहित विभिन्न लोगों को धोखा देने का आरोप है।
