देहरादून:- डीजीपी अशोक कुमार ने पुलिसकर्मियों के लिए नई पहल शुरू की है। अब से पुलिसकर्मियों की छुट्टी के लिए थाने अथवा पुलिस कार्यालय के चक्कर नहीं काटने होंगे क्योंकि डीजीपी अशोक कुमार (Ashok Kumar IPS, DGP) ने पुलिस वेलफेयर के तहत नई व्यवस्था शुरू की है, जिसके तहत सिर्फ एक व्हाट्सएप मैसेज पर पुलिसकर्मियों को छुट्टी मिल जाएगी। उन्होंने सभी जनपद प्रभारियों और सेनानायकों को इस व्यवस्था को लागू करने हेतु निर्देशित किया है।
DGP अशोक कुमार ने बताया कि कभी-कभी समय के अभाव के कारण पुलिसकर्मियों का अवकाश समय से स्वीकृत नहीं हो पाता है, जिसके कारण उन्हें अनावश्यक परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। अब पुलिसकर्मी को इमरजेसी में छुट्टी चाहिए और उसके पास इतना भी टाइम नहीं है कि वह अपने उच्चाधिकारियों के पास जाकर छुट्टी के लिए एप्लिकेशन दे सकें, तो वह अपने उच्चाधिकारियों को व्हाट्सएप पर छुट्टी का प्रार्थना पत्र भेज कर अपनी समस्या बता सकते हैं। उच्चाधिकारी आवेदनपत्र पर अवकाश की स्वीकृति प्रदान करते हुये सम्बन्धित कर्मी को अवगत भी कराएंगे।
इस नई व्यवस्था से पुलिस कर्मियों को आवश्यकता पड़ने पर वाट्सएप के जरिए आकस्मिक अवकाश मिल जाएगा।
