प्रमुख वन संरक्षक (हॉफ) राजीव भरतरी की अध्यक्षता में राजपुर रोड स्थित वन विभाग के मुख्यालय में ईकोटूरिज्म कोर कमेटी की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री घोषणाओं के 79.83 लाख रूपये के 07 प्रस्ताव पारित कर संबंधित डीएफओ को निर्देश दिये गये कि मुख्यमंत्री घोषणाओं के इन स्वीकृत प्रस्तावों पर शीघ्र कार्य पूर्ण किये जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री घोषणाओं के जिन प्रस्तावों को स्वीकृति दी गई उनमें 15.83 लाख की लागत से चन्द्रबनी खालसा में कुमांऊनी मंदिर के पास वन विभाग द्वारा पार्क का निर्माण किया जायेगा। 10 लाख रूपये की लागत से क्यारी नागटिब्बा सुरकण्डा तक ट्रेक रूट का निर्माण किया जायेगा। तराई पश्चिमी वन प्रभाग के अन्तर्गत फांटो क्षेत्र में सफारी जोन बनाने के लिए 15 लाख रूपये की धनराशि स्वीकृत की गई। बार्सू से दयारा बुग्याल एवं रैथल से दयारा बुग्याल वाले ट्रेक रूट का सुदृढ़ीकरण किया जायेगा। 10 लाख रूपये से ऋषिकेश क्षेत्र में संजय झील का सौन्दर्यीकरण कर इसे साहसिक पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित किया जायेगा। भराड़सैंण में ईको ट्रेल/ ईको पार्क की स्थापना के लिए 20 लाख रूपये की स्वीकृति दी गई जबकि नागटिब्बा, एन्दी, बुराष्टी में कैम्पिंग साइट विकास, व्यू प्वाइन्ट निर्माण, नागटिब्बा ताल की सफाई एवं सौन्दर्यीकरण के लिए 19 लाख रूपये की स्वीकृति शामिल है।
ईकोटूरिज्म कोर कमेटी के सदस्य सचिव डॉ पराग मधुकर धकाते, मुख्य वन संरक्षक ईकोटूरिज्म एवं प्रचार प्रसार ने अवगत कराया कि वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 हेतु राज्य सेक्टर ईकोटूरिज्म योजना के अंतर्गत यह धनराशि प्रभागीय वनाधिकारीओं को जारी की जा रही है ।
बैठक में अपर प्रमुख वन संरक्षक परियोजना डॉ समीर सिन्हा, अपर प्रमुख वन संरक्षक नियोजन एवं वित्तीय प्रबंधन श्री जी एस पांडे, मुख्य वन संरक्षक कुमाऊँ डॉ तेजस्विनी पाटील, मुख्य वन संरक्षक गढ़वाल सुशांत पटनायक उपस्थित थे ।
